The International Conference: The chosen theme for the 3rd International Conference will be "New Museums for Africa: Change and Continuity". The conference will bring together heritage professionals from Africa and beyond to discuss the management, promotion and protection of diverse and rich cultural heritage of Africa. The theme will address the global challenges heritage institutions are facing in looking after this heritage on the African continent.
In consideration of Ouagadougou's rich cultural heritage, including the beautiful Sahelian architecture, this event promises to have stimulating academic discussions, as well as fascinating cultural events and experiences.
