AFRICOM delegation visits Burkina Faso |
The AFRICOM delegation led by the Executive Director, Dr Rudo Sithole, the Sustainability/Fundraising Manager, Mr Tamba Jean-Matthew III and the Information Officer, Mr Francis Awinda visited Burkina Faso with the aim of meeting the Local organizing committee of the Third General Assembly, stakeholders in culture and potential corporate entities to sponsor the event as well as inspect proposed hotels, conference facilities and logistics.
The delegation also met high level personnel in the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Communication.
They included:- Minister for Culture, Mr Filippe Savadogo, Director General of Cultural Heritage,Mr Jean-Claude Dioma, Secretary General in the Ministry, Mr Souleymane Ouedraogo and Director General of the National Museum of Burkina, Mrs Tanly Sawadogo.
