Warning on fake Nok objects and Export Permits Mrs Violeta Ekpo, the President of the Museum Association of Nigeria (MAN)/ICOM Nigeria Chapter, has warned that no official export permits are issued or have been issued in Nigeria for the exportation of Nok items. A number of fake Nok terracotta objects (and fake Export Permits) are being produced both in Nigeria and in Europe, specifically for the art trade in Europe and USA.
