New Director for National Museums of DRC Mrs. Josette SHAJE TSHILUILA, professor at the University of Kinshasa, DRC, was named Director of the West African Regional Office of the University Agency of Francophonie in Dakar. Mrs. Shaje Tshiluila is a holder of a doctorate in anthropology of the Free University of Brussels. She has worked for the Institute of the National Museums of Congo since 1973, and was its Director General since 2004. While the new composition of the Board is not yet known, Professor Joseph Ibongo Gilingula will take up the duties of Director General. Dr Ibongo holds a doctorate in art history and archaeology from the Catholic Univcersity of Leuven-la-Neuve, and was previously the Assistant Director of the Museums.
